Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ackuritlabs is easy to work with, attentive, and quick to reply. Once we decided to proceed with a filtration system, I stopped by the store and system was installed the next day. Michael and his exceptional assistant (his son, Sawyer) installed, then thoroughly explained the functions, requirements and uses of the system installed. Looking forward to experiencing the difference our new water system makes! It's good to know they're just a phone call away. :-)

Bacteria in Your Well? It’s More Common Than You Think

Coliform bacteria can enter your water supply through natural flooding, cracked well caps, or plumbing issues — and even a small presence can trigger:

Health concerns for your family
Failed water tests during real estate transactions
Loan approval delays due to unsafe drinking water
Rejection from county or state health departments

Whether you’re buying a home or already living with well water, fast action matters.

Our Chlorination Process

Ackuritlabs follows a thorough and professional disinfection procedure:

Step 1: Confirm the Problem

We test your water for total coliform, E. coli, and other bacteria to verify contamination.

Step 2: Chlorinate the Well

We apply a properly dosed chlorine solution to disinfect your well, plumbing, and storage systems.

Step 3: Flush the System

After the chlorine has circulated, we flush the system to remove any residual disinfectant.

Step 4: Retest for Clearance

We return to retest your water, ensuring it meets all safety standards before you resume normal use.

When to Chlorinate Your Well

Chlorination may be required or recommended if:

Your water test shows coliform or E. coli
You’re buying or selling a home with a well
You’ve recently had well repairs or flooding
